Diesel exhaust fluid AdBlue^®

AdBlue^® reagent is used as additional working fluid in diesel engines with the application of the SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction)technology. The SCR technology is based on the injection of accurate dosed quantity of AdBlue reagent in the flow of exhaust gases in the presence of a catalyst (vanadium pentoxide). As a result, harmful nitrogen oxides (NOx) convert into harmless substances – nitrogen and water.

Production, storage, transportation and use of reagent AdBlue^® is regulated by the international standard ISO 22241.
